Join NS PROMOS/Run Myrtle Beach for the 3rd ANNUAL CoastalLIFE 5K!  We've also added in a Virtual option for those unable to join us in person. The race will be exclusively on the campus of Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC! We are excited to partner with CoastalLIFE and look forward to a great event for everyone!

About CoastalLIFE (Learning Is For Everyone) Program:

CoastalLIFE is an individualized, residential, non-degree program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program provides supports in the following areas:

• Academic Instruction
• Career Education and Training
• Independent Living
• Social and Community Engagement

The program's philosophy is founded on inclusion, integration, and individualization based on each student's interests and support needs. CoastalLIFE students have access to opportunities offered to other CCU students such as participation in CCU courses, on-campus housing, student organizations, sporting events, work study, and commencement.

Race Information:

• 7:00am 5K Start (chip timed)
• 7:05am 1 Mile Start (self-timed)
• 8:05am Run with Chauncey Kids' 50 yard dash (self-timed)
• No water stop on course
• Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
• Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification.
• Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification.
• Gun timing used for overall awards
• Chip timing used for age group awards
• Post race snacks and water

Race Swag:

• Participant shirt for all races (while supplies last)
• Custom designed medal for all races
• Race bib for all races
• Virtual race swag will be mailed within 2 weeks post race

Registration:

• Registration is only available online
• Registration closes Sunday, March 29 at 5:45am

Packet Pickup Information:

• Saturday, March 28 from 2:00-3:30pm at Native Sons (1519 Executive Ave, MB)
• Sunday, March 29 from 6:00-6:45am at Indoor Practice Facility across from Brooks Stadium

• Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place
• Overall Masters Male and Female 1 place
• Age Groups Male and Female 1,2,3 place 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up
  
• No awards for 1 Mile or Kids' Dash
