Gig Harbor’s Second Annual Fools Run 2026 is back for another unforgettable day of energy, excitement, and pure downtown fun. Whether you are a seasoned racer or an easygoing stroller, find some fun outfits and be a part of the madness!

The Fools Run 5K is an evening run through the scenic streets of Gig Harbor, WA. Set against the backdrop of the harbor at twilight, the event is designed to be playful, fun, and family-friendly (Strollers welcome), embracing a whimsical and lighthearted theme inspired by the spirit of April Fools.

📍 Location: Scenic Downtown Gig Harbor

Celebration Station: 4:00 PM

The official pre- and post-race gathering spot for all runners, spectators, and fun-seekers!

 Hop Pharm, 3216 Judson St. Gig Harbor, WA

• Live DJ music 
• Hydration Station and Snack Shack for post race fueling
• 360 Photobooth
• Select vendor and sponsor booths
• Food Trucks

La Plancha Food Truck will be serving up delicious Mexican flavors, and Dick's Drive Thru Burgers Food Truck will be offering classic, crave-worthy burgers. 

Purchase a post-run celebratory drink at Hop Pharm! 21+ only.

Race Start Time: 6:00 PM

Registration includes: Commemorative medal, T-shirt*, and Swag bag.  ( see below for photo!)

* T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before March 27th. After that date, we will do our best to accommodate size requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

As a volunteer, you’ll play a key role in making the event run smoothly. Opportunities include:

 ✅ Assisting with race registration and check-in 

 ✅ Helping with setup and cleanup

 ✅ Directing traffic along the course

 ✅ And of course, cheering on runners!
