🎯 Who This Race Is For

This virtual marathon is for runners who:

• Qualified for Boston 2026 but didn’t make the cutoff, or

• Were within 10 minutes of their Boston qualifying time

 

📅 Race Details

• Distance: 26.2 miles (full marathon)

• Race Window: April 11–26, 2026

• Location: Anywhere — run your own route or participate in a certified marathon

• Cost: FREE

Whether you were heartbreakingly close or still needed a few minutes for a BQ, this race gives you a second chance to shine.

 

🎟️ How to Earn Raffle Tickets

• ✅ 1 ticket for completing the race

• 💨 Bonus tickets 1 ticket per .1% improvement over qualifying time

• 📣 10 extra tickets for every person you refer

• 🦄 2x multiplier if you race on Marathon Monday (April 20)

•  ✂️ 2x multiplier if you qualified for Boston 2026 but didn't make the cutoff

 

🛤️ Two Ways to Participate

Option 1: Run Your Own Marathon

• Complete 26.2 miles anywhere during the race window

• Upload your GPS data (Strava, Garmin, etc.)

Option 2: Run an Official Marathon

• Choose any certified marathon held April 11–26, 2026

• Popular examples:

    • Newport Marathon – April 18, 2026

    • Eugene Marathon – April 26, 2026

• GPS upload still required for eligibility

 

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• You must have a valid Boston 2026 qualifying time (or be within 10 minutes of your BQ)

• You were not accepted into the 2026 Boston Marathon

• You must upload GPS-verified results to be entered into the drawing
