It’s that time again — the moon is calling! 🌙 Join us for our seventh annual Full Moon Challenge, a year-long celebration of determination, reflection, and light.
In 2026, there will be twelve full moons, and we’re challenging you to honor each one by running or walking 12 kilometers or 12 miles between January 1 and December 31, 2026. Complete it all at once, spread it throughout the year, or even dedicate a little distance to each full moon — the choice is yours!
✨ Your Finisher Medal
This year’s medal is something truly special. It’s 5 inches wide, crafted from wood, and laser-engraved right in our garage — made with love, care, and a touch of moonlight magic. 🛠️🌕 Each one is unique, just like your journey.

What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or ev en at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!
Each race benefits a difference charity
For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
