Building Change is hosting their 8th annual 22 Strong walk to honor and support United States Military veterans. The number 22 is significant to the event because it represents the average number of veterans who lose their lives to suicide every day.

Building Change is dedicated to eliminating veterans suicide. In seven years of the 22 Strong walk, Building Change has donated over $400,000 to local and national organizations that directly impact veterans. 2026 Events: 22-Mile In-person Walk (LONG): Saturday, September 26, 2026 2. 2-Mile In-Person Walk (SHORT): Saturday, September 26, 2026 2026 Beneficiaries: FOCUS Marines Foundation, Dogs For Our Brave, Got Your Six PTSD Support Dogs, Joshua Chamberlain Society, Re-Emerge, and the Mid America Veterans Museum, Dogs on Duty
