The Firecracker 4 is a 4-mile run and 2-mile walk.
Race Information Date: Saturday July 4, 2026
Time: Start time 7:30 A.M.
Location: Dunbar Park
Address: 803 FM 2004, Lake Jackson, Texas 77566
Course Cautions:
The course is open to vehicular traffic on the roads. There will be plenty of room for both runners and vehicles, but there won’t be much traffic at the time of the race.
Time Limit:
The race starts at 7:30 AM and closes at 9:00 AM.
Shirts, Awards, Post Race:
Overall and Age group awards! Overall and Masters, Top 3 in age group awards for 14 & under, 15-19, 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70+’s Post Race Food and Drinks Shirts are not included in race fees Aid Stations:
There will be water available at the 1 mile, just past the 2nd mile, and at the 3rd mile points on the course. Toilets are located at the start of the race near the pavilion.
Packet Pick Up:
Friday, July 3: 4PM to 7PM at Dunbar Park Pavillion
Saturday, July 4: 6:00-7:00am at Dunbar Park Pavilion
Kids Run The Kids Run will begin at 7:15. Free T-shirts and finisher medals to all participants.
The Kids Run is open to kids 12 and under. Kids 7-12 run is 1000 meters and the kids 6 and under run is 500 meters.
Proceeds from the race will go to District 2S4 Lions Charities, a 501c3 organization.
