Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Elmhurst Running Club's 4 on the 4th, a beloved holiday tradition now in its 21st year. This 4-mile race invites runners from Chicagoland and beyond to enjoy the beautiful streets of west-suburban Elmhurst. Starting and finishing at Elmhurst University, adjacent to historic Wilder Park, it's a wonderful way to kick off your holiday. A Kids 1K is also available for ages 5-12, making it a festive event for the whole family. This popular race sold out last year, so early registration is encouraged.

Set on the beautiful streets of west-suburban Elmhurst, the race starts and finishes at Elmhurst University across from historic Wilder Park. We also have a fun Kids 1K (ages 5-12).
