The 5K Your Ways offers a unique choice for runners and walkers: navigate either an asphalt trail system or a dirt trail system, both starting and finishing at a common point. This event supports a vital cause, with all proceeds benefiting the NOW (Nutrition on Weekends) program, which provides meals to at-risk children in Crawford County. Participate in the race and then explore local festivities, as the event is paired with the Heath Harvest Festival and the Wabash Valley Wine and Arts Festival, offering food, crafts, and community celebration.

5K Your Way is a 3.1 mile race. The participant has an option of either running/walking the asphalt trail system or the dirt trail system. All participants will start at a common point and split off onto their chosen course then merge together again at the finish. On the asphalt course there is approximately 200 yards of gravel (part of it uphill) which could be difficult with strollers.

We are dog lovers, but please be respectful to participants that may not feel the same by leaving your pet friends at home during the race.

The dirt trail conditions can be affected by weather. In the case that the dirt trails cannot be used all participants will use the asphalt trails. All proceeds for the race will go to the NOW [Nutrition on Weekends] program (all 4 Crawford County Programs). This program provides meals to at risk children when the school system is not available such as weekends and during the summer.

Prizes for Top Male and Female Dirt Trail Winners, and Top Male and Female Asphalt Trail Winners. Medals for 1st place in each age group. 17 and under 18-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65 and over

Finisher Medal and T shirts for all the children in the Kids Fun Run

Race Schedule:

7:45 a.m. - Pre-race meeting

8:00 a.m. - Kids fun run Race start

8:15 a.m. - 5K race start

10:00 a.m. - Race day awards and prize drawings

Also the race is paired with a couple of local events.
