From the organizer
The National Federation of the Blind of Colorado 6 Dot Dash presented by Comcast is an annual 5k event to raise awareness and funds for the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado/Colorado Center for the Blind. Your support helps provide Braille literacy and blindness skills training, scholarships for deserving blind students, summer camps for blind children, and so much more. The National Federation of the Blind of Colorado works on local, state and national levels to "to achieve widespread emotional acceptance and intellectual understanding that the real problem of blindness is not the loss of eyesight but the misconceptions and lack of information which exist."
This year's race is September 12th! The 5k course will be the traditional out and back to Reynolds Landing, starting and finishing at the Colorado Center for the Blind . For those unable participate with us in person, we still have the virtual 5k option.
