Abe's Army is a 12-week training program designed for runners and walkers of all abilities, guiding participants toward their best finish at Abe's Amble 5k/10k. This comprehensive program includes supportive leaders, personalized training advice, and the opportunity to connect with new running friends. Participants receive an Abe's Amble race entry, a finisher's medal for both the program and the race, a performance tech shirt, and access to professional medical advice. The journey culminates in an end-of-season catered picnic.

From the organizer
Abe's Army is a 12 week program to get runners and walkers of all abilities to their best finish at Abe's Amble 5k/10k in August. You must be a SRRC member to join, the option to join the club is included in this registration. The program starts June 1, 2026 and runs through race day. An orientation will be held on May 18, 2026 for packet pick-up, expectations, and to answer questions. Register early to be guaranteed a shirt!
Children under the age of 16 are welcome to join; however, they MUST be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian and will be assigned to the same group.
