Introducing the American Hero 25k Relay, Inaugural American Hero Half Marathon, 10K Ruck, and Hero 5k Race: Uniting for a Cause

Date: May 25, 2025

Location: Comanche Park, Salado Creek Greenway

About the Event:

Prepare for an extraordinary day as we proudly present the American Hero 25k Relay, inaugural American Hero Half Marathon, the challenging 10K Ruck, and the accessible Hero 5k Race! On May 25, 2025, join us at Comanche Park, Salado Creek Greenway, for an event dedicated to honoring the spirit of heroism and resilience that defines the American ethos.

Celebrating Heroes:

At the core of our event is a celebration of heroes, past and present. Whether they're the brave men and women in uniform, first responders, essential workers, or everyday citizens making a difference, we honor their unwavering commitment to serving others.

The American Hero 25k Relay:

Gather your team and step into the shoes of champions in the American Hero 25k Relay. This thrilling relay race navigates a looped 5k course through the scenic Salado Creek Greenway, offering teams an opportunity to showcase their teamwork, endurance, and determination. With each handoff, runners embody the strength and fortitude that characterize our nation's heroes.

The Inaugural American Hero Half Marathon:

For the first time ever, we're thrilled to introduce the American Hero Half Marathon! Participants will conquer  13.1 miles out and back in the beautiful Salado Creek Greenway trails. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to the sport, join us as we inaugurate a new tradition of honoring heroes through the power of running.

The 10K Ruck:

Challenge yourself in the 10K Ruck, where participants carry a rucksack weighing no less than 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds over a scenic 10-kilometer course. This event pays tribute to the resilience and strength of our nation's heroes, providing a unique opportunity to walk in their footsteps and experience the weight they carry in service to others.

The Hero 5k Race:

For those who want to join the cause but prefer a shorter distance, we're thrilled to offer the Hero 5k Race! Lace up your shoes and conquer one loop of the scenic Salado Creek Greenway, covering 3.1 miles in honor of our nation's heroes.

Uniting for a Cause:

Beyond the thrill of competition, the American Hero events stand as symbols of hope and unity.
