The 29th Annual Angel Run 5K invites you to participate in a meaningful event dedicated to remembering lost loved ones. This race supports the community by contributing proceeds to a $1,000 Angel Run Scholarship and local organizations like the North Star Fire Department and American Legion. Runners can submit photos of loved ones to be displayed along the flat, scenic course. It's a chance to honor memories while enjoying a community-focused run.

What to expect

Run a flat, scenic 5K course with mile timing and water stops.

Sunday, July 26, 2026 - 9:00 AM | North Star Picnic

Race Location: Starts and finishes at the North Star Park, east of town (in North Star, Ohio) AND TIMES Pre-entry prices good until July 10, 2026 Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Fun Run for children begins at 8:45 a.m.

DAY OF RACE FEES (AFTER JULY 10)

AWARDS: Plaques for the top 3 male overall, top 3 female overall and medals for top 3 in each age category

COURSE: Flat, scenic course – times each mile, water stops (down & back course).

TIMING: Electronic chip timing.

DOOR PRIZES: Many door prizes donated by generous sponsors. Must be present to win.
