This race supports Wreaths Across America , a national nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring our veterans by placing remembrance wreaths on the graves of fallen soldiers at veterans' cemeteries across the country . The funds raised through this race will directly go toward purchasing wreaths for those laid to rest at our local Veterans Cemetery, ensuring that their sacrifices are never forgotten.
