The Route

Your team will be provided with a suggested route, including key checkpoints you'll be expected to reach - it will be up to each team to strategize their own route and transition zones, prioritizing safety and following local laws at all times.

The first 30 miles or so will have sidewalks or greenway to follow. After that you'll spend most of the journey following the shoulder of quiet country roads, passing through small towns with the occasional sidewalks, and through residential areas and farmland.

Atlanta to Monticello (Leg 1): The first leg is a challenging urban and rural mix, featuring rolling hills and long stretches of greenway, using the Rockdale River Trail, Arabia Mountain Path, and South River Trail.

Monticello to Milledgeville (Leg 2): A mid-race section that dips into Georgia’s agricultural heartland, offering quiet roads and stunning views of fields and forests.

Milledgeville to Metter (Leg 3): A fast-paced leg with straightaways and slightly flatter terrain, perfect for maintaining pace.

Metter to Savannah (Leg 4): The final stretch takes runners through picturesque rural landscapes before entering Savannah, with the finish crossing over cobblestone streets, and ending with the final sprint through historic Forsyth Park.
