🐾 Bearcat Pride 5K Join us for the 5th Annual Bearcat Pride 5K in support of the Anson High School Cross Country Program!
📍 Location: First Presbyterian Church 212 South Rutherford Street Wadesboro, NC 28170
🕖 Packet Pickup & Registration Packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m. on race day Bathrooms, water, snacks, and awards will be located at First Presbyterian Church Awards will be presented shortly after the race concludes Race will be held rain or shine 📝 Registration Information Online registration closes Wednesday, April 29 FREE race t-shirt deadline: Sunday, April 26, 2026 Race Day Registration available Pricing:
$30 (advance registration) $35 (race day registration) Students ages 8–18: $15 Great family event! 🏃 Why We Run The Bearcat Pride 5K directly supports the Anson High School Cross Country Program. Last season, the Bearcats grew to 20 runners, and for the first time in over 15 years, fielded both boys and girls teams. They competed at the Rocky River Conference Meet and Regionals.
With the new Anson Middle School being built next to Anson High School, we hope to one day construct a cross-country course connecting the two campuses, creating a lasting legacy for our runners.
