From the organizer
The Beer Mile is an event consisting of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process 3 more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running.
You must be 21 to participate. You must bring ID to the event.
There will be three options to participate:
Single - 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps
Double - Find yourself a drinking buddy (and running buddy) 2 people split the running and beer drinking. Each person must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total per person)
Quad - This could be a good team-building exercise for your company, or softball team, or just you and three friends. 4 person team split the running and beer drinking. Each person must drink 1 beer and run 1/4 mile
Suggested Training Plan : Get off the sofa, grab a beer, take the long way back to the sofa. Increase the distance to the fridge by one room every three days. Trying walking through the dining room, laundry room, and office. As you advance try going outside, and walk around your entire property....
