Join us for ConnectAbility of MN’s Break the Barrier 5K & 1K for every body. This inclusive event is geared towards the whole family. Whether you're running, walking, rolling, or strolling, this event is about breaking down barriers and building a supportive community.
Tours & Vendors
Our building will be open to the public for tours of our Assistive Technology & Mobility Lab The event parking lot will have free snacks, water, and community resource booths. Early Bird Signup - Free Shirt
Free event shirts will be provided to all 5K and 1K participants who register by May 15, 2026. Free Medals
Medals will be given to all participants at the finishline Check In
On day of event please arrive 15 - 20 minutes before your event start time. 5K Run starts at 8:00am
5K Walk starts at - 9:00am
1K starts at - 10:00am,
At the event tent, you will sign in and receive your t-shirt (if applicable) and bib. 1K Chalk Paths
Colorful chalk paths will cover half the width of the 1K event route. Following chalk paths is optional.
