Join the 6th Annual Bulldogs on the Run 5K & Bark in Orangeburg, SC, an event designed to promote health and fitness while providing vital financial support to students at South Carolina State University. Experience a morning filled with excitement and energy as you navigate the 3.1-mile downtown course or the 1-mile Bark route. This event offers a welcoming atmosphere for participants of all paces, contributing to a meaningful cause with every step.

What to expect

* Choose between a timed 5K through downtown Orangeburg or a 1-mile Bark route.
* All participants receive a commemorative t-shirt.

From the organizer

The city of Orangeburg will be a hotbed for excitement, energy and enthusiasm. Join us on October 24, 2025 for the 6th Annual Bulldogs on the Run 5K & Bark. The mission of the event is to promote health and fitness, while providing financial support to students attending South Carolina State University.

The 5k is a 3.1 mile course that will occur in the downtown area of the Garden City.

The Bark is a 1.0 mile out-and-back route that will stretch along the outskirts of the 5K route. The starting address is the same as the 5K, listed above.

Packet Pick Up:

You will be able to pick up packets for friends and family. Friday, October 23 (5:00pm - 7:30pm, TBD) and Saturday, October 24, 2026 (6:30am - 7:05am, TBA)

T-Shirts

Every participant that signs up by October 5, 2026 will receive a t-shirt. 5K participants will receive a multi-blend t-shirt. Bark participants will be the recipient of a cotton t-shirt. Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration. NO SWITCHING SIZES – NO EXCEPTIONS!
