Race feel
Tackle a scenic ultra challenge around Canandaigua Lake, with 50-mile and 50K options, featuring rolling roads and significant climbs.
- Scenic
Experience the CanLake Ultras with a choice of a 50-mile or 50-kilometer challenge around Canandaigua Lake, one of Western New York's most beautiful Finger Lakes. The 50-mile course features a road loop with rolling terrain and significant climbs, including the notable Bopple Hill. For those newer to ultras, the 50K offers a point-to-point route with less elevation gain, making it a welcoming step up from a marathon distance. Prepare for a serious ultra experience where personal handler support is a valued perk, provided safety rules are strictly followed.
What to expect
- Choose your ultra challenge: a 50-mile road loop or a 50K point-to-point course.
- Expect mostly flat to rolling roads with several major climbs, including the locally famous Bopple Hill.
- The 50K is designed to be more friendly for first-time ultra runners.
