Caswell Center Foundation Community Champion 5K

It is time to lace up and get moving! Registration for the Caswell Center Foundation Community Champion 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run is now officially open. This event is more than just a race; it is a celebration of the mission that drives us every day. Whether you are a competitive runner or prefer to simply walk the course, your participation directly impacts the people we serve. How the Foundation Enhances Resident Life.  Many may not realize the tangible ways the Caswell Center Foundation enriches our campus. While state funding covers essential needs, the Foundation provides the "extras" that create joy and independence. Recent contributions include:

• Wheelchair Accessible Golf Cart: Allowing our non-ambulatory residents to enjoy campus tours on sunny days.

• Harmony Park: A major clinical and recreational space located in the heart of our campus.

• Life Experiences: Funding for snow tubing trips to Beech Mountain and holiday celebrations at Busch Gardens Christmas Town.

• Specialized Care: Providing therapeutic equipment, such as specialized rockers, to ease discomfort and improve daily quality of life for residents with chronic pain.
