The course

From the organizer

The major thrust of the MISSION:POSSIBLE Body Fit 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk is to provide the opportunity for young people, their families and the community to join together for a time to stretch, walk, run and enjoy the outdoors in a family fun setting, that's also pet-friendly. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a casual walk around the 1 Mile circle or run the timed 5K to improve your personal best.

Funds raised will be channeled toward developing tools and resources that educate and reinforce positive relationship building skills. Community engagement will be strengthened to become an even more prominent component in further development of middle school-aged children. Research shows teaching social skills to children at an early age, setting behavioral expectations and accountability, reduces the possibility that a child will physically, emotionally or psychologically abuse others.

The L. Christina Smith Domestic Abuse Prevention Foundation, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization exists to raise awareness of domestic abuse, and eradicate it as a result of prevention through intervention.
