City of Maywood Open Streets 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the City’s first-ever Open Streets & 5K event, bringing the community together for a day of fun and connection.

The 5K check-in begins at 7:30 AM, with the race starting at 8:30 AM—followed by family-friendly activities, food, music, and more for all ages!

Registration will open on Monday, April 13, 2026, and remain open through race day. Please note that registrations received after Monday, May 25 may not be guaranteed a race-day t-shirt due to limited sizes and availability. All other race items may be available while supplies last.

Race fees: $10.00 Maywood Residents | $20.00 non-resident (5K T-shirt, participation medal, chip timing/run bib, and Swag Bags)

Please note: The transaction fee will be paid by the participant through the RaceSignup registration portal.

Race Bib Pickup Thursday, June 18th and Friday June 19th at the Maywood City Hall (4319 Slauson Ave, Maywood, CA 90270) from 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM. Runners can also pick up their race bibs on the morning of the race on June 20th until 8:30am! You will be asked to provide proof of residence at packet pickup.

Road Closures & No Parking Areas There will be road closures in and around Maywood on the morning of June 20, 2026. Please see below for the roads that are closed. Estimated time of closure and re-opening is 7:00am-3:00pm.

Randolph St & Pine Ave Randolph St & Clarkson Ave Atlantic Blvd & 61st St Randolph St & Woodward Ave Randolph St & King Ave Randolph St & Prospect Ave Randolph St & Mayflower Ave Randolph St & Vinevale Ave Randolph St & Heliotrope Ave Randolph St & Palm Ave Randolph St & Wilcox Ave Randolph St & Alamo Ave Randolph St & Pala Ave Randolph St & Walker Ave No Parking Zones will be marked as “No Parking – Tow Away Zones” along the route. Please adhere to the dates and times posted.

6161 Atlantic Ave. (99 cent store old parking lot)  is the only parking area available for the event and will be monitored closely to ensure proper usage.
