Participants will join together at Lutcher Park to carry forward Claire's legacy of love. A portion of the proceeds also benefits St. James Parish Bridge to Bridge Animal Rescue, reflecting Claire's compassion for animals. It's a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a safer, kinder future.

Claire's Promise, Inc. was created to honor the beautiful life of Claire Zeller, whose time with us was tragically cut short by a drunk and impaired driver. Born from love, grief, and the desire to protect others, Claire’s Promise, Inc. carries forward the light she brought into the world. Our mission is to keep Claire’s spirit alive by educating communities about the dangers of impaired driving, inspiring safe and mindful choices, supporting families who have suffered similar losses, and working every day to create a safer, kinder future. Claire’s Promise is a reminder that one choice can change everything.

The Claire’s Promise 5K will be held on May 9, 2026 at Lutcher Park, Lutcher, LA and will bring together families, runners, walkers, community leaders, and supporters who want to stand against drunk/impaired driving and carry forward Claire’s legacy of love. In addition to event costs, expanding community outreach, and providing materials to raise awareness about impaired driving, in keeping with Claire's spirit of compassion and love for animals, a portion of the proceeds will also benefit St. James Parish Bridge to Bridge Animal Rescue.
