Comet 5k run/walk

Come support your Grand Ledge Comet Marching Band on Saturday, July 25th for the annual Comet 5k run/walk. Band members will play for you along the route! Water stations and post-race snacks will be provided.  This is a family friendly event all ages and abilities are welcome! 

 

Parking: At Beagle Middle school, 600 W. South Street. Turn at Jenne street to South Street and pull into the Beagle parking lot. (The street (Lohne Drive)  at the roundabout will not be open.)

 

Registration fees: $35 through July 12th. $40 from July 13th to July 24th. $45 Race day. Run for FREE - details HERE. 

 

Registration fee students: Ages 18 and under only $25. 

 

Special Family Pricing: Register 3 or more people at the same time and save $3 per person. Savings automatically applied during registration.

Race Swag: All participants who register by July 12th will receive a t-shirt. T-shirts available after that date as supplies last.

Race day Packet pickup: Morning of the race starting at 7:30 am

 

Course: The 5k run/walk starts and finishes at Grand Ledge High School track

 

Results: Available live and on this page after the race

 

Proceeds: All proceeds from the event will support the Grand Ledge Marching Band.

 

Virtual event: If you are unable to participate in person sign up for the virtual event, t-shirts are included with registration by July 12th. Price is $40 and includes shipping. There are no awards for the virtual event, however you can enter your results after you complete your run/walk. Results can be entered on the results page.

 

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation
