Prepare for a truly challenging 4-mile trail run through the coulees of Washburn. This course features a mixed surface of grass, asphalt, and gravel, designed to test your limits. Expect to navigate logs, mud, and standing water, making this event feel much longer than its distance suggests. Awards are presented to top finishers across various age divisions.
From the organizer
The coulee trail is a 4 mile trail run through the coulees of Washburn. The surface is mostly grass with a bit of asphalt and gravel. The terrain is extremely challenging and will feel like a much longer race. There are some logs to crawl over and short stretches of mud or standing water for you to navigate. The route chosen for the trial is meant to be interesting and challenging and not necessarily the safest. Please be careful, take your time and have fun!
You may register online or at the event. Event registration takes place at the Washburn High School parking lot. From Hwy 83 turn south on 7th Street at it will be on the left hand side of the road directly across from the school's main entrance. Event registration begins at 6pm. The race starts at 7pm.
Awards are presented to overall and division winners. Divisions are men and women’s Ages 17 & under, 18-34, 35-49 and 50 and over.
