FestiveThe Country Possum Chase offers a spirited way to begin your July 4th celebrations in White Lake, WI. Choose from a 10K, 5K, or 1 Mile race, all kicking off the day's festivities. Beyond the run, participants are invited to enjoy a full day of community events including a parade, live music, local vendors, beach activities, and fireworks. Top finishers in each race will be recognized with unique fruit pie awards, adding a touch of local charm to the competitive spirit.

Times: 7:30 am (1 mile) 8:15 am (5K) 8:15 am (10K)
Start/Finish: White Lake-Joe Edelman Pavilion, Bissell St.
Entry Fee: If received before July 4th… $5-1 Mile $15~5K $15~10K
(Race Day registration add $5)
Event t-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after 6/13/26. ($25 for T-shirt)
The notorious fruit pies will be given to the fastest 10 Men and Women runners in all 3 races.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR BOTH RACES WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 6:15-7:15 AM.
Due to uncontrollable situation, there will be no official timing this year at the possum chase all runners will receive a Possum Chase Participation Medal.
Start with the Possum Chase and stay in White Lake for the rest of the day. We will also host a parade, music, vendors, beach fun and fireworks!
