The 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run & Walk invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to explore the beautiful Big Creek Nature Preserve in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Choose from 2K, 5K, or 10K trail routes, all chip-timed. This event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds directly benefit Crossroads at Big Creek's mission to inspire environmental stewardship through education, research, and outdoor experiences.

Celebrate the 17th Annual Crossroads Trail Run !
Door County’s first trail run invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2K, 5K, or 10K route at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 13, 2026 . Chip timing will support staggered starts by distance, with the 10K beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K approximately ten minutes later, and the 2K shortly after that. The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 am.
Packet pick-up is Wednesday, June 10 – Thursday, June 11 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday, June 12 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, June 13 from 6:30 - 7:30 am at the Collins Learning Center. To reserve your t-shirt, registration must be made by May 12, 2026 . Participants who register after May 12, 2026, may opt to choose from a selection of previous year's race shirts.
All proceeds benefit Crossroads at Big Creek .

Locally sourced prizes for top finishers, including pottery from Garden Girl Stoneware . All participants receive a native tree, courtesy of Evergreen Nursery and post-race snacks.

Proceeds from the Crossroads Trail Run directly support Crossroads' mission to inspire environmental stewardship in learners of all ages and from all backgrounds through education, research, restoration and outdoor experiences.

Bikes, Spikes & Dogs Bikes, shoes with spikes, and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. As always, dogs are allowed on the property but must always be on a leash.
