navigation with a map and compass; 2) Family-friendly 2 hour adventure race. Children 15 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult; each adult requires a registration. The Rev3 DASH Sprint Adventure race will utilize the Slate Creek mountain biking trails; racers will be required to have a mountain bike. Checkpoints for the foot section will be on and off trail; knowing how to use read a topo map and use a compass will be helpful! The Rev3 DASH Family Adventure race is designed for our new and young racers. All checkpoints will be close to the race headquarters and won't require map and compass navigation. Additionally bikes are optional; you'll be on dirt trails that can be muddy, but no technical riding is required. If you prefer to get checkpoints just on foot, that's absolutely fine!
