We invite you to join us this Father’s Day weekend at Lake Hawkins for a community run/walk dedicated to honoring fathers, celebrating family, and encouraging healthy living.

This event was created in memory of a father who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. What began as a personal tribute has grown into a community gathering focused on connection, gratitude, and wellness. It’s a chance to slow down, come together, and recognize the importance of the people who’ve shaped our lives.

At Lake Hawkins, the course loops around the lake and offers a simple, scenic route suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re running the 10K, walking the 5K, or bringing kids out for the 1-mile dash, this event is meant to be welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Registration Includes

The entry fee covers participation in your selected race as well as parking at the Lake Hawkins beach area. After the race, guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the lake swimming, relaxing, and spending the rest of Father’s Day with family and friends.

Race Day Atmosphere

This will be a relaxed, community-focused event with a well-marked course, volunteers along the route, and a supportive environment for runners and walkers of all levels. The goal is simply to show up, participate, and enjoy the day

After finishing, participants are encouraged to stay, connect with others, and take in the lake for the rest of the afternoon.
