THE OFFICIAL TRAINING PROGRAM OF THE MERCY HEALTH GLASS CITY MARATHON

Dave's Spring In-Training Program offers personal coaching with a training plan designed to help you reach your goal. All plans start on Monday, January 5th, 2026. The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon, Half-Marathon, and Savage 5K will be the target events for all the programs. Each program has different pace groups to meet individual needs and dedicated coaches to assist each group. Join hundreds of other runners who enjoy Training the Dave's Way!

TRAINING TILT PLATFORM FOR EVERYONE

The Training Tilt app is such a fantastic tool for remote trainers that Dave's is now including the app as an option for anyone in the program as another training resource. One of the most useful features in the Training Tilt app is the interactive training calendar, where you can sync your Strava account or Garmin device.

The Dave's REMOTE TRAINERS will receive weekly coaching advice and encouragement from Dave's Training Team through the Training Tilt Platform.

BEGINNER HALF-MARATHON & 5K PROGRAMS

If you're aiming to complete your first half-marathon or 5K, Dave's Running Shop will help you reach the finish line with a detailed, 16-week training plan tailored for the Glass City Half-Marathon/Savage 5K. This plan gradually increases your mileage and helps you adapt to longer runs step by step, so you're prepared to handle the half-marathon or 5K on race day.
