Fairmont Triathlon (Youth, Sprint) and Run for the Bacon 5K

 

The Fairmont Sprint and 5K Run are all held at Gomsrud Park, Fairmont on Saturday, June 21st, 2025.  There will not be an Olympic triathlon event.

REMEMBER! The Youth Triathlon (kids ages 5-15) date is Friday, June 20, 2025. 5:15PM Race is located at the Fairmont Aquatic Park.

Registrations received by May 25, 2025 will be guaranteed a t-shirt by size requested.

Youth Triathlon race day registration (Friday) from 4-4:30 p.m. Fairmont Aquatic Park.

Packet Pick-Up (Sprint, Olympic, 5K run): Gomsrud Park Picnic Shelter

• Race Day from 7am-8am

 

SPRINT TRIATHLON:

Sprint event distance is: .25 mile open water swim; 20k bike (12.5 miles) on flat county roads; 5k (3.1 miles) run through residential areas.

Medals to top 2 in each age category, and trophies to top 3 male & female overall finishers. 

RELAY

Team Relay Divisions are available in the Sprint Triathlon.  Teams consists of 2 or 3 people.

 

YOUTH TRIATHLON:

 
REMEMBER! The Youth Triathlon date is Friday, June 20, 2025. 5:15PM Race is located at the Fairmont Aquatic Park

AGES 5-8: 25m pool swim (flotation devices allowed),1 mile bike, 1/4 mile run.

AGES 9-11: 25m pool swim (flotation devices allowed), 1.8 mile bike, 1/2 mile run.

AGES 12-15: 50m pool swim, 3.5 mile bike, 1 mile run. Ribbons and t-shirts to all participants.
