This event will again take place at the Westerville Sports Complex ( 325 N Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43082 ) on Sunday, May 24, 2026. This flat course is on paved recreation paths, against one of the most memorable backdrops you’ll ever experience.
The Field of Heroes has been a Memorial Day weekend tradition in central Ohio for the past 17 years, providing an opportunity for our community to bring back the significance of the holiday and to honor their personal heroes. Set in a field of 3,000 full-sized American flags, visitors are able to dedicate flags to their personal heroes and join other community members in this deeply moving event.
