Family Promise of Spokane is hosting a Fun Run Challenge! What's the challenge? Run or walk 31 miles, one a day, for the month of July at your own pace. Then come together to finish strong for a 5k! Support families on the verge of, or experiencing, homelessness in Spokane County.

Together we will show Spokane that we are ending the cycle of Family Homelessness! Join us the month of July by running, raising awareness, and gathering supporter as you raise funds for Family Promise of Spokane. Wear purple and yellow (or your race day shirt) while you run to show support of our organization! Post your progress on this website or join our Facebook event page to share photos, progress, and highlights of the race. There will even be shout outs for: The individual or team who can raise the most money! The individual or team who can get the most peer support! The individual or team who has the most creative run (costumes, style, etc! ) The biggest team! The furthest run away from Spokane! We will end the month-long challenge on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 @ 9:30am with a 5K in Riverfront Park. Day of check-in will begin at 8am and there will be plenty of family friendly activities to participate in before the race starts Watch this video to learn how to register for the run Watch this video to learn how to set up a fundraising page This run is in honor of beloved late coworker Craig Howard, who would often give out shoes to those who had none. This run is a perfect blend of his passions and we will honor him with every mile completed! *Please do not run alone if you are a minor or if you feel unsafe doing so!
