Garden of Reflection 5K (9/11 Memorial Race)

GARDEN OF RELFECTION 5K - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH

Be a part of the 25th Remembrance and join us for this year's running of the 9/11 Memorial 5K as we commemorate the lives lost and the heroic acts of first responders of 9/11. The 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk raises money for the endowment to preserve the Garden of Reflection memorial for future generations. This is your chance to support the Garden of Reflection and be a part of the 25th Commemoration of 9/11!

New in 2026 we are adding a 10K distance run. Sign up to be an inaugural runner in the 10K!!!

RACE INFORMATION

Date : Sunday, September 20, 2026 Course : Rolling hill course starting and finishing in the Garden of Reflection Memorial Park utilizing streets through local neighborhoods Distance Options : 10K Run / 5k Run/Walk / 1 mile course (the 1-mile course stays on the Garden of Reflection Memorial Park property for the entire race) Due to course regulations, we ask that all 10K participants be runners or run/walkers and finish within 90 minutes of the start Location : Garden of Reflection Memorial, 1950 Woodside Rd, Lower Makefield, PA Registration : Please complete on-line by Friday, September 18th. Limited on-site registration will be available Check-in : Opens at 7:30am Please check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the starting time Start Time : 9:00am – Rain or shine 1M and 5K Fee : $35 for early registration (May 1 - May 31); $40 Pre-registration (June 1 - noon 9/18); $45 thereafter and day-of race 10K Fee : $40 for early registration (May 1 - May 31); $45 Pre-registration (June 1 - noon 9/18); $50 thereafter and day-of race 25th Remembrance Race Shirts : All participants registered by September 11th will receive the new, custom designed, 2026, 9-11 Memorial race-shirt. For registrations received after September 11th, shirts will be provided if and as available. Race Medals: New for 2026, all participants will receive a custom designed race medal and ribbon VIRTUAL OPTION For those unable to join us for the in-person race, you may join via the Virtual Option. From Friday, September 18 – Monday, September 21st, take up the challenge and run or walk 1 mile, 5K, 5 miles, or as many miles as you can. This is something that can be done by anyone, anywhere (no matter where in the world you live or are traveling to), any time night or day, any distance, at any pace, during any # of days. You can walk or run any combination of days and distances that works best for you. You can even do it indoors on a treadmill - so just about anyone can do it! Cost: $40 per participant (May 1 - May 31); $45 beginning June 1 Shirt: All participants registered by September 11th will receive the custom designed 2025 Garden of Reflection 5K race shirt. Shirts will be mailed to all participants in the Virtual Challenge, or you can pick them up during the pre-race packet pick-up. For those who register after September 11th, shirts will be provided if available. Prizes: All participants are eligible for prizes selected by random drawing during the virtual challenge

10K, 5K and 1Mile COURSE All courses start and end on the property of the Garden of Reflection Memorial. All courses are relatively flat & fast and take place within the park and on local, neighborhood streets. Some rolling hills for the 5K and 10K courses Note- the 5K course is slightly modified beginning this year with more of the race occuring on Garden of Reflection Park property.

Top 3 Male / Female Overall Winners Top Male / Female in each age group: 14 & under | 15-19 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70-79 | 80+ Awards will be presented to winners following the race. 5K awards presented at approximately 9:50am. 10K awards presented at approximately 10:20am. You must be present to receive an award. Awards will not be mailed.
