Run for Justice

Lace up your running shoes, grab your best costume, and join us for one of Cleveland’s favorite fall traditions! This spook-tacular run takes you through Edgewater Park with options for serious runners, casual joggers, and families who just want to stroll in costume. Costumes are strongly encouraged - we’ll have prizes for the best looks! After you cross the finish line, stick around for a festive after-party with family-friendly games, DJ Brad Wolfe, food trucks, crafts, and face painting. Why we run: Proceeds from the Halloween Run for Justice support the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation’s community programs focused on expanding access to justice, empowering youth, and building a more equitable Cleveland. Every step you take helps make justice accessible for all. The Halloween Run has always been open to the public and we are thrilled to be named one of "7 Unique Things to Do in Cleveland, You Won’t Want to Miss" by Apartment Guide. Join us!

Note: All participants registered on or before October 10 will receive a long-sleeve Halloween Run for Justice shirt! Those registered on or after October 11 will receive a shirt based on availability.

Overall Run Time: Top Male, Female, and Non-Binary runners overall (5K & 5 Mile) Best Costume!!!: Youth (17 and under), Adult (18+), Group, Dog The winners of the above and following will be published on the CMBA website, and available on the runsignup Results Page following the event.

Age-Based Run Time: Top Male and Female runners in the following age brackets (5K & 5 Mile): 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over Special Category Run Time: Top Lawyer, Top Judge, Top Paralegal/Legal Assistant, and Top Law Student Team Awards: Top teams in these categories: law firm/organization, law school
