2026 Hell Hole Gator Run 5K & 10K

The Hell Hole Gator Run is the oldest 10K race in the South Carolina Low Country. This is the 50th year for Hell Hole Gator Trot.  The Gator Run is now a 10K & 5K starting and finishing in Jamestown, SC.  The 10K course is back to the old route of start on French Santee Rd then turn right onto Simmons Rd then right onto Tiger Corner Rd then right onto Hwy 41 to the finish line.  The 5K has a new route that will start on the corner of Simmons Rd & Tiger Corner Rd you will make a right onto Hwy 41 to the finish line.  The Gator Run is affiliated with the world famous Hell Hole Swamp Festival.

10K will start at 8:00AM. 5K will start at 8:00AM...NOTE THAT THE 10K WILL REVERT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL COURSE, AND THE 5K WILL START AT THE 5K MARK OF THE 10K IN THE WOODS.

The overall male & female, masters and grand masters winners get to ride in the parade that will start right after the awards ceremony.

We are located at the intersection of Highway 41 Highway 17-A so make plans to come out and enjoy.

Large (actual) gator-head trophies will be given to the M/F overall, masters and grand masters divisions.  Smaller gator-head trophies will be given to age group winners both male and female, ages 10-19 through 75-99.

Early Packet pick-up will be October 16th at Fleet Feet Carnes Crossroads 2509 N Main Street Summerville, SC 29486 from 3pm - 6pm.

Race day packet pick-up will be October 17th at Hell Hole Inc 116 Steel Shed Lane ,Jamestown, SC 29453 from 6:15 am - 7:45 am.  Please remember if you are running the 5K and you are doing packet pickup on October 17th please have your packet by 7 am.  We want to make sure all runners are at the start line before 8 am.

Please bring your ID for packet pick-up.

The 10K starts on French Santee Road go straight and turn Right onto Simmons Rd, then Right onto Tiger Corner Rd, and then Right onto Hwy 41 to the finish in front of Town Hall.

The 5K starts at the halfway point of the 10K (which is on Simmons Road) You will then take a Right onto Tiger Corner Rd and then Right onto Hwy 41 to the finish in front of Town Hall.  The 5K runners will be shuttled out to the 5K start line beginning at 7 am.
