Helping Hands Hero 5K Run/Walk

Join us on August 22, 2026 (in person or virtually) as we raise funds for The Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation Helping Hands Initiative to provide necessary equipment that is not covered by insurance, such as but not limited to: safe standard car seats, electrical lines for ventilators, helmets and various adaptive equipment.

Donate to give our patients and Lerner school students at The Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation a chance to participate on race day in the Kids Fun Dash or 1 Mile Walk with their caregiver!

So many of our patients would love the chance to come out to the Zoo and show off all the amazing progress they are making in their therapy sessions and enjoy a day at the Zoo after the events!

Three options to choose:

$25 - Kids Fun Dash - patient and caregiver included in this price $30 - 1 -Mile  Walk - patient and caregiver included in this price $20 -   Virtual Option -  this category is designed specifically for our patients that cannot leave the hospital to attend the race in person! START TIMES 7:30 a.m. - Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up 8:00 am - Hero 50 yard dash for kids 8:30 a.m.- Sidekick 5k Run/Walk and 1 mile walk

REGISTRATION FEES Race Admission includes access to the Zoo for the entire day!

Hero 50-yard Dash/Roll - 2-10 yrs, 2-18 yrs with assistive devices - $15

5k Run/Walk - $25 before April 1st $30 before June 1st $40 through race day

1 Mile Walk - $20

Family - $75 - includes 2 adults and 2 children (to receive discount, register 2 adults and 2 children in the same transaction and select "multiperson pricing" before continuing to the next page)

Spectators - $10

If a child is participating in the 50-yard Kids Fun Dash an adult needs to be present with them and purchase a spectator ticket.

Children under the age of 2 are free
