The Belvidere Chamber of Commerce is excited to host this beautiful race along the Kishwaukee River Path. The race will start and finish in Doty Park in downtown Belvidere. Dogs and strollers are welcome. Please be courteous to runners and stay to the side of the path. The purpose of this Run/Walk is to provide healthy family fun to the festival weekend. Belvidere Heritage Days is to celebrate the community and the rich history of our area. Proceeds from this race will help keep the festival going for years.
There will also be a FREE KIDS RACE at 9:00 AM. It will stay within the park and will be approximately 400-500 meters on the circle path in Doty Park.
Packet Pick Up will be available at the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce office (404 S. State St. Belvidere, IL 61008) from 8am-12pm on 6/26. Race morning pick-up will be available from 7am-7:45am at Doty Park. *****Runners who register after NOON on 6/19 will NOT be guaranteed a race shirt.***** On-site registration will be available at the Belvidere Chamber (404 S.State St. Belvidere, IL 61008) Friday 6/27, 8:00 am-12:00 pm, and Doty Park from 7:00 AM until 7:45 AM on the event day.
