Welcome to our High Uinta Kids Tri!
This is a family friendly event with a home town feel. It's a great way to introduce the sport of Triathlon to youth.
Date: July 25th, 2026 Time: Check in will be from 7:00 to 7:45 am at the rec center. Race starts at 8:00 am. Ages: 4 to 17 Cost: $25 resident / $30 non-resident
4-6 y.o. - 25 yard Swim - 1 mile Bike - .35 mile Run 7-8 y.o. - 50 yard Swim - 2.2 mile Bike - .7 mile Run 9-10 y.o. - 100 yard Swim - 3 mile Bike - 1 mile Run 11+ y.o. - 150 yard Swim - 4 mile Bike - 1.2 mile Run
Register by July 12th if you want a shirt. *There is no guarantee you will get a shirt if you register after the 12th of July.
Children will be divided into heats for the race, oldest to youngest. Life jackets are available for use. Swimming will be snake like fashion: down one lane, under the lane line, and back in the next lane until they reach lane one and the steps.
Racers exit the aquatic center to the patio for T1. Helmets and shoes must be worn. T2 is in a fenced area and bikes will be supervised in both T1 and T2. The run portion ends on the South Summit High School track. iI is a kid friendly route with some of the course in the school and rec center bus lanes, parking lots, and on the High School track.
