NC Urban Mushing is teaming up with Hoke County Parks and Recreation to offer a dog 5k trail run/hike.  You don't have to have a dog to participate, but all dogs on site must have their rabies vaccines and be on leash at all times during this event.

We will have 2 starts for this event

The first start will be for the humans/dogs running canicross (with a dog in a non-restrictive harness attached to their human's waist belt)  These teams will start one at a time every 20 seconds for safety as the dogs in this event like to race and usually a bit excited so we'll get them out on the trail first. The main start will be for everyone else (dogs/no dogs) and will be at approximately 8:15AM and you have until 10:30 to finish the ~3 mile loop. All finishers will get a commemorative finisher's medal
