Join us for the 9th Annual Humble but Hungry 5K on Sunday June 21st 2026.
Humble but Hungry is a non-profit organization that takes a holistic approach to providing services to advancing the lives of those in need, while enhancing the community. With a focus on scholarships, crisis intervention, life and wellness Humble but Hungry uses an unorthodox approach to meet the needs of those who fit outside the proverbial box.
Since, Humble but Hungry was conceptualized based on a desire to help those in need, all proceeds from this race will be used to fund our community initiatives and support efforts such as serving food to the less-fortunate, hosting a sock drive which give us an opportunity to distribute feminine products to those in need, hosting coat drives for the less fortunate and expand our outreach to other areas of need that are often overlooked. Proceeds from this event also help with scholarships for seniors who will soon be freshmen in college. The possibilities are endless and with your assistance Humble but Hungry will continue to impact the community and advance the lives of those in need.
Team Humble but Hungry consists of a group of individuals who have experienced their fair share of obstacles throughout their lives but were able to prevail and turn those trials into triumphs. In doing so the team members understand the importance of assisting others and providing support to bridge the gap as needs are identified in the community.
