The Iota Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter intends to hold the 2026 Fun Run/Walk as scheduled on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The Organization has a no refund policy. If, due to circumstances beyond the control of the Iota Zeta Sigma Alumnae Chapter, the location of the event has to be changed, you will be immediately notified via email and social media. Events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY due to inclement weather, you will be notified immediately via email.

Distance: Approximately 1.5 miles

Online Registration Cut-Off: Friday, July 10, 2026 11:59 p.m.

Event Schedule:

7:00AM – 8:00AM - Fun Runners & Walkers Check-in and Registration

8:15AM - Opening Ceremony

8:30AM – Race begins

9:30AM – Closing ceremony – Acknowledge winners and sponsors; participants can interact with vendors and receive valuable information at tables/tents

11:00AM – Event concludes

Course Information Course time limit: Distance: 1.5 miles (20 minute per mile pace) Hydration Stations: Finish Line For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind including roller/inline skates, no strollers, and no bicycles are permitted on the course.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION Race Day registration will be available while supplies last. Cost - $30

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PARKING Free street parking will be available for the event at the location site. Please plan to arrive early as the IZS Fun Run/Walk could cause traffic delays.

AWARDS Overall awards are based upon net time.
