Join us for the annual JBA 5K on April 25, 2026, at the Gilbert School. The event will run from 9:30 AM to 1 PM, beginning with registration and check-in, followed by opening remarks, the run beginning at 11 AM, and concluding with presentation of medals. We will come together to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention in loving memory of Joseph and Brian.
This event is dedicated to supporting a student at The Gilbert School pursuing a degree in the mental health field, specifically social work or psychology. Participants will have the ability to create their own fundraising page to help raise funds. Proceeds collected at this race will be given to a student in the form of a scholarship.
Fundraising kicks off on February 25, 2026 and continues until the day of the event. The day will feature a mapped course for the 3.2-mile walk/run, (1-mile route available) along with resources from local vendors dedicated to mental health and family support.
