Join the Roswell community as we lace up our running shoes to honor a local hero. The Jeremy Labonte Memorial 5K is more than just a race; it is a community-wide tribute to a man who gave his all for our safety, and a chance for us to come together to support the men and women who wear the badge.

Honoring Officer Jeremy Labonte On February 7th, 2025, Roswell Police Officer Jeremy Labonte was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a suspicious person report. Officer Labonte made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the citizens of Roswell, Georgia. We run to remember his bravery, his service, and his unwavering dedication to keeping our community safe. The Course: Fast, Flat, and a Peachtree Qualifier! Looking to set a new personal record? This course is built for speed! Starting at Sweet Apple Elementary on Etris Road, this fast and flat route is the perfect opportunity to hit your stride. Running for a Cause Every step you take and every registration fee helps give back to the department Officer Labonte loved. All proceeds from the race will directly benefit Friends of Roswell Police and The Roswell Police Foundation. Their Mission: To be virtuous stewards of donated resources by discovering and meeting the needs of our community through collaboration with our community and the Roswell Police Department, while also supporting the dedicated men and women of the Roswell Police Department who serve and protect our city. Their Vision: Fostering strong relationships and collaboration between the Roswell Police Department and the community they serve and protect. Event Highlights Location: Sweet Apple Elementary (12025 Etris Rd, Roswell, GA) Course: Fast, Flat, and fully paved out and back on Etris road Who: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome!
