The 24th annual Jog into Spring - All proceeds benefit Renee Fontana Roche Memorial Scholarship/Garden Fund and Living Classroom within the Independence School District.

DATE Sunday, April 26, 2026

PLACE Race begins and ends at the Independence Civic Center, 6363 Selig Rd., Independence – Brecksville Rd., West on Selig and turn right onto Kathy Lynn Drive. The Civic Center is on the left-hand side. Parking is available at the site.

Start Time Registration/Packet Pick Up - 8:00am 5k Run and 1 Mile Walk- 9:00am

Distance 5K Run/Walk - Chip Timed 1 Mile Walk - Untimed

Registration Pre-Registration By 9am on Friday, April 24 - $25.00

$70 Family Rate - 4 people from the same address All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, April 15, 2026 Make checks payable to Hermes Sports & Events and mail entries to:

Late Registration After 9am on Friday, April 24 - $30

Race Day Registration/Packet Pick Up Registration/Packet Pick Up - 8:00am 5k Run/Walk and 1 Walk- 9:00am

Participants Receive Registration includes a t-shirt, please register by April 12 to guarantee your shirt on race day! If registered after this date, subject to availability.

Refreshments provided at the finish line.

Raffle ticket included with registration. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased on site prior to the race. There will be a raffle on-site with prizes from local restaurants, movie theaters, and sponsoring companies.

Donations - you are able to donate through online registration or click on the link above for the print form. At the bottom of the form is a spot to fill in donations. Feel free to just fill that portion of the form out if you cannot register. You will mail to same address listed for registration. Thank you!

Awards Award given to Top Overall Male and Female runners.

Male and Female runners finishing in the top three in each age group will receive awards.

Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

VIRTUAL RUN Want to participate from out of town? You still can! Complete the 5K race or 1 mile walk on your own. Run or walk, outdoors or on a treadmill – you choose!

If you would like to submit your 5K result, please click HERE! Deadline to submit times is Wednesday, April 29.

Virtual event participants can live anywhere! Please feel free to invite family and friends from around the country to join you.

You will be mailed your shirt prior to race week if registered by April 5. We encourage you to wear your shirt and take photographs of your virtual run/walk.
