Running In The New Year - A JSRC festive tradition to spread cheer and support local organizations that help others in need. 

Out with 2026, In with 2027!  Soon it will be time to start making those New Year’s resolutions.  One great healthy way to start the new year off on the right foot is to bring your family and friends out to the 2026 New Year's Eve Twilight Run!    
 
Join us for the 23rd Annual New Years Eve Twilight 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk & Party hosted by the Jersey Shore Running Club on the beautiful Manasquan beachfront and local streets. A 4:00 pm start time allows for a little “recovery time” before your late night partying.  Perfect for runners, walkers, families and friends looking to celebrate the New Year in style.  Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, this is a perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, meet new people and have fun!  You don't have to be a JSRC member to participate.  There will be a free buffet for all participants at Leggett's Sand Bar following the run/walk.  

This is a SAFE and happy celebratory FUN RUN with course marshals at selected locations.  Due to safety & insurance concerns we must prohibit Strollers,Baby Joggers & Pets.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Early-Bird (10/1 through 10/31/2026) - $30.00 (JSRC members - $5 discount through 10/31)
Pre-Registration (11/1 through 12/30/2026) - $35.00
Race Day Registration (12/31/2026) - $40.00
Party Only (Includes Tee Shirt & buffet) - $20.00

                                                   RACE DAY SCHEDULE - 12/31

Bib & T-Shirt Pick Up and Late Registration at Leggett's Sand Bar - 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm
Tee Shirts for the first 500 registered participants. Late registrants while supplies last.
2 mile run/walk will start at 4:00 pm
Post Run/Walk Party at Leggett's Sand Bar - Free Buffet 

JSRC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to TBD.  Please consider a donation to these organizations that help others in need.

Highway 71 to Main St, Manasquan

From North - turn left on Main St

From South - turn right onto Main St

Continue East on Main St to First Ave

Leggett's is on right Street

Parking on street and Leggett's rear parking lot
