It's a Juneteenth Celebration!
Join the Lansing Area Track Club and "Run Tha City 517" for the fourth annual Lansing, Michigan Juneteenth 5k run/walk/roll! Register today to run/walk or roll (strollers and wheel chairs welcome) the race will start at Benjamin Davis Park 5500 Pleasant Grove Rd, Lansing, Mi.48911 and take you through the scenic route of Davis Park. You can create a team with friends, coworkers or family and complete 3.1 mile route together as a community. The largest team/group created will receive the first place trophy before the start of the race.
Pricing & T-shirt guarantee dates: $35 until March 31st (t-shirt guaranteed) $40 from April 1st until June 5th (t-shirt guaranteed) $45 June 6th to June 19th (t-shirt size not guaranteed) $50 on race day (t-shirt not guaranteed)
Start Time: 8:30 am
Packet pick up: Packet pickup is June 18th @ Schmidt Community Center 5185 Wise road 12:00pm-5:00pm, but race day packet pick-up is June 19th starting at 7:00 am at Benjamin Davis Park 5500 Pleasant Grove rd. During your packet pickup you will receive your race t-shirt and your bib number.
Awards to the top finisher in age groups: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
Proceeds & Donations from the race go to support our indoor practice facility that we currently planning to build. This will give a vital space that helps us fulfill our mission of developing athletes on and off the field. This facility allows year-round training in a safe, structured environment where hard work, discipline, and confidence are built every day. Your support ensures we can continue provide meaningful opportunities, removing barriers to growth, and creating a place where athletes can train, learn, and reach their full potential.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation . Results will be live and posted on this website following the event.
