Join us Saturday, September 12, 2026, for a 5k to promote health and celebrate 93,000 nurses across Kentucky!

The Kentucky Nurses Association 2026 5K Fun Run/Walk is a vibrant and purposeful event dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community engagement. This walk brings together individuals to support the Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) and nurses across Kentucky who serve as leaders to promote positive healthcare in the Commonwealth.

The walk provides a unique opportunity to network with fellow community members, raise awareness about the critical role nurses play in healthcare, and support the future of nursing through essential fundraising efforts. Together, we can make a difference for nurses and the communities they serve!

T he Kentucky Nurses Association 2026 5k Fun Run Walk will take place at Freeman Lake Park on Blue Heron Way in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The 5k route provides a view of the beautiful lake. This 5k is for all fitness levels to walk or run—join nurses and others who support Kentucky nurses!

The early bird registration is $35 until July 5, 2026, and $40 thereafter.

Virtual option $45 before July 5, 2026 and $50 after July 5.

Register a Team of 4 or more and each team member will recieve a $5 discount.

A t-shirt and medal will be provided for all registered participants that register by August 1, 2026.  Registering beyond August 1, 2026 does not guarantee a t-shirt and medal. Extra t-shirts will be available until the inventory is depleted.

Children 10 years of age and under may walk/run with a registered adult; however, only those with a paid registration will receive a t-shirt and medal.

Race packet pick up and on-site registration begins at 8:00am EST on the day of the event; the race starts at 9:30am EST. Please arrive prior to 8:30am EST to pick up your packet and be ready for the race start at 9:30am.
