From the organizer

April is Amputee Awareness Month.  May 2026 will mark 5 years that I have been an amputee.  This event was created to raise awareness and support two groups that are important to me.  When I was in high school, I was a member of the track and cross-country teams.  Before my accident, I enjoyed running as a stress reliever and for exercise.  Working with kids is another passion of mine.  Nothing was going to stop me from getting back to teaching even after becoming an amputee.  Camp No-Limits is a camp for children who deal with being an amputee ( https://www.nolimitsfoundation.org/ ). With your help, I will be able to offer scholarships for children who may struggle with the cost of attending camp.  This event will raise funds to help both Camp No-Limits and the Green County Track team.

All events will be held on the track.  The walk begins at 9:00am cst.  Primary age "Littles Lap" begins at 9:30 cst.  Intermediate age "Littles Lap" begins after Primary race.

We will award the runner for Primary and Intermediate ages for the "Littles Lap".

Medals will also be given to first runner for each grade - K, 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5.
