The 22nd Annual LARS Race Against Hunger & Homelessness, also known as The Turkey Trot, invites runners and walkers to a meaningful Thanksgiving morning tradition in Laurel, MD. This 5K event brings the community together to support Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc. (LARS). Participants of all ages contribute to a vital cause, helping neighbors combat hunger and homelessness while fostering stability and self-sufficiency. It's a grounded way to begin the holiday, making a tangible difference.

Race Against Hunger & Homelessness In Laurel, MD
Together this Thanksgiving, we can #FightHunger, #FightHomelessness, and #FosterHope. Since 2004, this Thanksgiving morning tradition has drawn participants from across South Central Maryland and beyond. Each year, runners and walkers of all ages come out in the sun or rain, mild or cold, to support Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc. (LARS). The event raises money to help our neighbors fend off hunger, combat homelessness and achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
